“I completed my MSc in Applied Social Psychology at Royal Holloway University of London in 2016 under the supervision of Dr. Marco Cinnirella specializing on National and European identity. Our research has sought to investigate how social representations in the media can affect the sense of National and European belonging, in particular relating to the 2016 British EU referendum. In my dissertation we empirically assessed concepts such as National Identity, National Pride, European Identity and Attitudes Towards Europe, seeking to understand how these change depending on media manipulations and nationality, in turn affecting related attitudes and behaviours.”
