“I completed my MSc in Applied Social Psychology with Dr. Marco Cinnirella in 2015. We aimed to explore whether adding filters to photographs on one’s social media changes perceptions by applying photographic filters from the popular photo-sharing service Instagram to the portrait of a woman. After completing my Master’s degree, I am now working for the Policy Research Programme Central Commissioning Facility, where I coordinate the commissioning of health research to inform governmental policy for the Department of Health. I also manage a large portfolio of projects with a focus on mental health and act as the Patient and Public Involvement coordinator for the programme, working to get members of the public engaged in research.”
